Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan donates laptops to four Kogi schools
Secondary school students in Kogi Central receive new smart devices to boost digital literacy and learning.

Senator Natasha Akpoti‑Uduaghan visited four secondary schools in Kogi Central on 2 November 2026. She handed out laptop computers and other smart devices as part of her three‑year Senate anniversary activities, according to a statement from her media aide Mike Idoko.
The schools that received the equipment were OCSS Oboroke, Adavi Model Secondary School, Adavi Eba and Community Secondary School, Obangede. The senator said the initiative reflected her commitment to representation, educational development and youth empowerment. She reminded students that education is a vital investment and urged them to use the devices to improve digital literacy and focus on their studies.
Teachers and school administrators were asked to maintain the equipment and ensure it is used for teaching and learning. The senator also mentioned other constituency projects, including a sponsored Senate Bill 521 for a Federal Medical Centre in Ihima, road improvements, potable water, solar‑powered infrastructure and skills acquisition programmes.
At Community Secondary School, Obangede, the Chairman of the Governing Council, Dr Shehu Sule, praised the intervention. He described the senator as a distinguished female office holder and said the laptops would broaden educational opportunities for students. Dr Sule expressed hope for continued collaboration and offered an award to recognise her leadership in education and youth empowerment.
