INEC publishes 2027 preliminary voters register online
Students can now check their voting details online before the final register is published on 15 December 2026.
The Independent National Electoral Commission has uploaded the preliminary register of voters for the 2027 general elections to its online portal, adding to the physical display. Voters can now log on to https://display.inecnigeria.org, sign in, select their state, local government area, ward and polling unit and view the names and photographs of all registered voters in that unit.
The portal only allows viewing. It does not support new registrations, transfers or corrections, and users must browse by polling unit rather than a nationwide search.
INEC is processing claims and objections arising from the inspection exercise ahead of the certification and publication of the final register on 15 December 2026, as required by the Electoral Act, 2026. The move follows concerns raised by Nigerians and other stakeholders about accessibility.
